character development

The comtemperary design of macsots will be: lion character as embodiment of male, riverine rabbit as the embodiment of female, cape elephant shrem as the emboidment of paraplegic athlete and double collared sunbird for the public supporter.
As the characters are supposed to apply across multiple platform. I try to personify the characters in compasion to the original silhouette prototype.

When i start to design the character after the silhouette study. I realise that the animal mascot need more details to further match the cultural context and be personified.
